AI Opportunity Assessment
Find the AI opportunities hiding inside your business.
A practical assessment for NZ businesses that want clear commercial answers on where AI can save time, reduce manual work, increase revenue, empower the team, and identify the highest-value opportunity to build first.
48-hour AI Opportunity Map. No obligation to build; the full fee can be credited if you choose to continue within 30 days.
The first move problem
AI interest is easy. Choosing the right first move is harder.
Most businesses can name a dozen possible AI ideas. The harder question is which one is commercially useful, operationally realistic, low-risk enough to start, and valuable enough to justify the effort. The Assessment turns that uncertainty into a ranked map.
- The team is trying tools, but nobody owns the priority call
- Manual admin and reporting friction are visible, but not quantified
- Opportunities are scattered across sales, ops, service, and leadership
- The business wants value before committing to a broader programme
What you get
A practical AI Opportunity Map, not a generic audit.
Executive snapshot
A concise view of where AI can create value and what should be ignored for now.
Opportunity matrix
Ranked opportunities scored by impact, effort, risk, and confidence.
Top quick wins
The three lowest-friction moves that can save time or tighten execution quickly.
Strategic build options
The three higher-value systems worth considering for Sprint or Partner work.
Simple ROI estimate
A commercial estimate in time saved, cost avoided, revenue recovered, or risk reduced.
Action plan and roadmap
A 5-day action plan, 30-day roadmap, and recommended next step: DIY, pause, Sprint, or Partner.
Data capture gap
An assessment of where AI cannot work properly because the business needs better real-world inputs — calls, photos, site checks, stock scans — and what a lightweight capture path would look like.
Discovery options
Pick the discovery format that fits how you work.
Each option feeds the same Opportunity Assessment. The only difference is how you prefer to share context: face to face, on a live call, or in your own time.
In-person discovery
A face-to-face session, often over coffee or on site, for teams who prefer to talk through the business in the room.
Online discovery call
A live video call that keeps the human discussion while being easier to fit around your schedule.
AI-Assistant discovery
An AI Assistant intake available 24/7, so you can complete the same discovery whenever you have the time.
What we look for

Common questions
Is this an audit?
No. This is not a compliance-style audit or a judgement of your business. It is a commercial opportunity assessment: where can AI create useful value first?
Who should attend?
Usually the owner, GM, operations lead, or department lead who understands where work gets stuck. For smaller businesses, one strong operator is enough.
Do we need to prepare anything?
No heavy preparation. Bring the workflows, bottlenecks, repeated admin, customer handoff issues, and reporting pain points you already know about.
Is the conversation recorded?
If we use a live or AI-assisted intake, we record or transcribe only with permission so the analysis is accurate.
What if there are no good opportunities?
Then the recommendation will say that. A clear pause is a better outcome than forcing a weak build.
Can the fee be credited?
Yes. If you choose to continue into AI Sprint or Partner within 30 days, the full Assessment fee can be credited.
How is this different from AI Sprint?
Assessment gives you clarity and prioritisation. AI Sprint is implementation: one workflow, one build, one handover.
Ready to start the intake?
Book a discovery call or send the essentials. The next step is the same: a ranked AI Opportunity Map.
Standalone clarity first. Build only if it makes commercial sense.
